Learning Journals
€10 per pupil (includes 3 booklets, one per term)
The learning journal supports classroom activities and gives pupils a clear record of their language learning over time. It helps them revisit what has been done in class, track their progress, and reflect on their own development.
Its content is aligned with the classroom programme while leaving room for pupil input and personalisation, allowing them to make it their own throughout the year. For teachers, it provides a practical way to make learning visible and to give feedback more easily.
kOUIvna School App
(Included with Licence)
Offline app for pupil practice
Designed for focused use, the app supports fully offline practice, reinforces classroom learning and supports long-term retention while allowing each pupil to progress at their own pace, and is downloadable on Android devices (OS 5 and above).
Access is included with individual or school licences and provided through an access code.
kOUIvna App
(Outside Licence)
Available separately for families
The kOUIvna Home App supports short, regular language practice through listening and speaking activities, and is downloadable on Android devices (OS 5 and above).
It may be used by families wishing to support MFL learning at home, whether or not their school is using the programme.
Preconfigured Learning Devices
Indicative pricing from €35 per device
Devices are available for schools or families who prefer a ready-to-use solution, with the kOUIvna app already installed and the content supporting the first two years of the programme. They support fully offline use, allowing regular practice without requiring Wi-Fi or ongoing internet access. A dedicated device supports focused practice without competing notifications, games or other distractions.
Schools may also enquire about multiple-device supply. Availability may depend on supply.
kOUIvna’s programme supports schools in implementing the Primary Language Curriculum through a flexible, progressive approach to MFL. Schools can begin in 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th class, depending on their MFL plan, and expand provision across the school over time, with opportunities to revisit and extend language learning to increase pupils’ exposure.
