By accessing the kOUIvna website, platform, and related resources, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws. If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the website or any associated materials.

Use of the programme

kOUIvna provides a structured Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) programme designed for use in Irish primary schools. The School Licence provides access to the teacher platform and associated downloadable programme resources, including Learning Journals and classroom resources.

Optional individual practice is available separately through kOUIvna Practice, supplied on preconfigured kOUIvna devices for use in school or at home.

Use of the programme is granted on a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable basis for educational use within the subscribing school or by an authorised licence holder.

Permitted use

• Use materials within the classroom or authorised educational setting
• Access content through the kOUIvna platform
• Use resources as part of the structured programme
• Use kOUIvna Practice on authorised preconfigured kOUIvna devices

Restrictions

• Materials may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed outside the authorised school or licence holder
• Access details, including logins and unlock codes, must not be shared
• Content may not be uploaded to other platforms or shared publicly
• Materials may not be modified or used to create derivative works
• The programme may not be used for private tutoring, commercial lessons, or any non-school setting without a valid kOUIvna licence
• Content must not be extracted, copied, or transferred from kOUIvna devices or applications, including via USB or other storage methods

Intellectual property

All content, including slides, audio, video, app content, downloadable resources, and programme structure, remains the property of kOUIvna. No ownership rights are transferred through use of the programme or kOUIvna Practice.

Access and security

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials and ensuring that materials are used only by authorised users.

kOUIvna reserves the right to suspend or restrict access in cases of misuse.

Disclaimer

All materials are provided “as is”. While kOUIvna is designed to support language learning in primary schools, no guarantees are made regarding outcomes, suitability for specific contexts, or uninterrupted availability of the platform.

Limitation of liability

kOUIvna shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the programme, including loss of data, interruption of service, or indirect or consequential damages.

Updates

kOUIvna may update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the website or programme constitutes acceptance of the current version.
